Basehor PRIDE is happy to announce that we have been approved for $4,800 in grant funding through Kansas Community Gardens! Check out their website here:
http://www.kansascommunitygardens.org/. We cannot wait to put this money to good use by adding a number of improvements to our garden as we continue to build and grow. This grant is in addition to over $1,000 we recieved from Kansas PRIDE, Inc. through their Partnters in Pride grant program.
Basehor PRIDE is also gearing up to start our Yard of the Month program back up this summer. Starting in May, Basehor PRIDE will begin selecting 4 yards in Basehor every month to be featured in the Basehor Sentinel as the Basehor Yard of the Month. Check out some of our previous winners.
